The third release in our 'Small Batch' series. Fiano has quickly grown to become one of the most exciting prospects among emerging varieties in Australia. 

Native to southern Italy, most famously in the wines of Fiano di Avellino. Well suited to mild to warm climates, it holds its acidity well through ripening resulting in wines of attractive almond blossom, stonefruit and light honey characters, and appealing texture. 

After crushing and gentle pressing we split this wine into three roughly equal components with one ageing for a short period in French oak, one on lees to encourage creamy texture, and one in tank to preserve fruit character. The result is a beatifully balanced white with subtle fruit characters and great mouthfeel. 

Enjoy in its relative youth, over the coming 24 months.
