From a single block within the Parola's vineyard, and an exceptional vintage for Durif.

Picked in two parcels, and open fermented with regular hand plunging to unlock those magical Durif tannins. 12 months in one year old puncheons, predominantly American with a smattering of French.

Deep and dark with black cherry, blueberry and bramble. Clove, allspice, musk and licorice round out a complex nose. Structural Durif tannins, prominent oak influence at this early stage and a long fruit-driven finish. 

Beautiful on release and will cellar long term.
