Grenache has long been a pin-up of ours here at Warrabilla. This versatile grape has a long-standing history across Rutherglen, McLaren Vale and the Barossa where it was often relegated to fortified wine production and as a basic blending component. More recently, winemakers have recognized the beauty that can be achieved in single varietal wines. This wine captures all that we set out to achieve in our work with this variety. Seductive, highly perfumed aromatics, richly textured, cherries, raspberry and spice. Serving temperature is key to enjoying this wine, ideally 14-18°C.
